The soft silver shimmer of tin and gold foil inside this cup is very simple yet it has an elaborate look. When you turn the cup upside down you will find realistic faces of animals carved on the bottom.  Tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake and bull are chosen out of the 12 animal signs. The gold foil is hand decorated by artisans of Kanazawa, long known for its gold foil production technique. This technique was collaborated with traditional tin making technique from Takaoka city to make this unique sake-cup.
