This cup carries a soft atmosphere unique to tin products and is decorated with a beautiful crescent moon on the inside. Tin has long been used for drinking vessels as it makes alcohol milder. This “Gui-nomi” Sake-cup is made from 100% pure tin.  The crescent moon is hand plated by artisans with “Kinpaku” (extremely thin gold foil), which gives out an radiant yet elegant look. When you pour a drink in this cup, the moon sways on the surface of the liquid to create an elegant scene of its own.
